The Story of Veloria
As long as I can remember, my hands have always sought something to do. Coloring, painting, building — maybe it's inherited; my mother has been knitting and crocheting all her life. And I believe that somewhere, without realizing it, I learned that things made with our hands have a special soul.
For years, I felt like I was searching for something. I tried many things, but I never found that feeling — until the day I poured my first candles.
It started simply, as things that matter usually do. A workshop for my birthday — a gift from my best friend. There was nothing spectacular, just warm wax, a container, and my hands. But when I left there, I knew within 30 seconds that this is what I wanted to do.
And so, Veloria was born.
I don't know how to explain exactly what I feel when I create. I only know what I want you to feel. When you light a Veloria candle, may its warm light offer you an embrace. When you look at a ceramic object, may all the noise in your mind stop for a few moments — making way for silence. And maybe a small smile.
Veloria was born from my hands and from everything I sought before I found it. I hope each piece reaches you with some of that.
